Are you ready for an out of this world notebook?
OK, I'll show ya!

It's got some cute little octagons on it with fun patterned paper...
That I stitched down with my sewing machine!
It went pretty quick. I used some scrap paper to cute the octagons out.

The paper is Clever Handmade!

I think I will turn this one over to my little  Ozkar and see what he puts in it.
Have a great day.

anymore.

Having a daughter and a son the color schemes get a little challenging sometimes. I try and stick to the
colors in there clothing.

I also have a bestie who is an amazing photographer...and she blesses me with
great fotos of my kids.

I still haven't figured out how to take great pictures of my work. I seem to get glare.

I added a tuxedo bow and a doilie. Decided it would be good just like this. I think I may need
to add a date on here somewhere...I'm sure one day the dates will be escaping me.
Have a nice day and thanks for looking.

Cards, cards, cards....

Cards, cards, and more...cards!
...Clever Cards...
I have been on a card roll lately. I think because it allows me to sample all the goodies without a huge commitment. There are so many things to be made out of one 12x12 piece of paper!

Love me some pinwheels, they are so light and airy, this one is totally form...not function!

I totally got the banner across the front of the card from Heidi Grace Kress. She had lots of cute samples of this technique when she came to visit....and the tabs. I am really liking tabs right now too, lol!

Ohhhhh love this quote and the little stamps, I've had them around for a while and decided it was just the time to use them. I like how you can make any sentiment you want and it's ecletcic. Lends itself nicely to the uniqueness of this paper.
There's a little of whats goin on in My Craft world.

Paper Lovin Gals #27 submission, Audrey Frame

Audrey Frame

I have had painted this green frame a while ago and it's just been kinda uninspired until...I layed some super cute Nikki Sivils (Audrey Collecton) on my table next to it. And my creation was born...
I just fell in love with the way it's turned out. I'm quite proud of this one.
I'm going to enter it over @ Paper Lovin Gals #27

I decided on a triangle banner with some faux stitching!
I have some of these "partridges" stock piled...they are the sweetest little birds. For the flowers I free handed some circles and spiral cut them, rolled them in and secured the trio down with hot glue!!
The papers I modge podged to the surfaces(the frame and bird).
....SWOON.....
I just may have to make more birds and flowers!!
Thank you for coming to visit, there's so much inspiration and encouragement to share.

Clever...it's Handmade

Hello Blog Friends!
Seems like life caught up with me in the last week and I've been absent! I did get to burn the midnight oil a few times! Nothing like some Bon Jovi and a stack of paper to get things going!

What I have to share with you is a sweet LO I made of my baby girl Easter of 05'.  I used the embroidery boards and patters from Clever Handmade! This is soooo much fun, you rub the pattern on and pre-pierced the design then stitch it on!

So the Clouds are what I stitched on!! Just a floatin in the sky. This paper is the Embroidery Board that Heidi designed to be used with the transfers, but you can use it for anything. It's a great weight it  holds  up to getting spritzed, cuts nicely and it comes in some mod patterns:)

Isn't it cute?? You can stitch as close or as spread out as you want. I like seeing the pattern in between my stitching, and the little heart is so sweet!

Got a close up of my journaling and banner. I created the banner  using Sticker Tape, also a Clever Handmade product! I layered the two together and made a couple a snips and there is was, a clever little banner, lol! The sticker tape it a heavier  weight  than washi tape and it's not translucent. I'm a fan for sure.

Thanks for looking it just maaayyy be two post night, we'll see!

A Sunny Bedroom

Hello, thought I'd take a minute to share with you my kiddos bed room. We have a really, small space...so we decided to turn our fantastic living room... into their shared  bed room!! When the kids were little, under three, we had a swing hanging in one of the walkthroughs in this room. Oh the memories of the wee ones falling asleep in a swing...in the house. So precious.

Having one of each kinda makes ya get creative when it comes to a shared space. Fortunately for us it works out, they love to sleep together, they get that from me :) I'm a snuggler.

Miss Ellie colored in some flowers at the base of out tree.

I used the Cricut Pumpkin carving cartridge and an overhead projector to stencil the tree on the wall. I repeated parts of the tree on one other wall too.
My kids school was super nice to let me borrow it.

My little OZ coloring in a fish in his pond.I still have to paint a guy fishing the pond. Thinking if I can get him to hold still long enough I will trace his silhouette. I think that would be pretty special.  I free handed the fish and cat tails...that was easy enough for me. My artistic talent doesn't lend itself to drawing.

Another view of the room, and yes that's my vacum, it's always out and getting used....I am the crazy vacuum lady. I can't help it though...we live under some HUGE maple trees. When they are in full bloom it looks like a canopy of green above our little bungalow. Oh..random, sorry.

There are puffy clouds all over the room. It was such a blast to be able to do this for my kids. And, for the cost of the blue paint...$23.00, because I had the other paints already. I just used acrylic craft paints I have hanging around from other projects.

I love being able to create for my kids. I know that they will look back at this time with fondness. Living in grandpa and grandmas front yard with a decked out room, parents that love them and freedom to run out the front door and have an adventure. I'm pretty blessed.

Thanks for dropping in! Have any of you ever muraled walls? How'd you do it? I'd love to know.
Happy Easter.
